Someone just made a very good point about the Signal fiasco.

When Pete Hegseth posted the details of the attack he almost certainly was not typing it in. He probably copy/pasted the information which means he was carrying around that information on his personal phone.

Think about that.

It boggles my tiny little progressive mind that we're using computers to vote. Or that we allow the uber-wealthy to broadcast all the negative advertising they can afford about political candidates. Or that we allow presidents to appoint judges that will later decide their guilt or innocence when they commit crimes.

For the Weird Record: I got married on April 1st, 1982. My gal at the time shared my odd sense of whimsy but that lasted only until 1988. We don't communicate any longer but about this time every year I get the urge to call her up and tell her that I still love her and I will do anything to get her back and then remind her that it's April 1st.
